Groups allowed and not Allowed Sharing of their Releases.

Actually, I wanna refer this matter to Ruka-sama herself. But she rarely online and never bother to check her PM. So I will just post it here and let the mdoerators decide (Or if Ruka-sama read this by any chane, then that would be great!)

As far as I know, st_owly, Eien and Ruka-sama are yaoi fans and minna-san should be aware of yaoi scanlator groups's rules. Some of them don't allow redistribution of their releases so I kinda think that maybe we should make a list of groups who allowed and not allowed sharing of their scanlations as to respect their policy.

Blissful Sin - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on FAQ.

Boys X Boys Love - ALLOW if
-follow their conditions

Liquid Eros (Biblo Eros and Liquid Passion) - ALLOW if
-upload releases a week after their release.
-not on Megaupload

Bliss - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on FAQ.

Atlantis Dream - ALLOW
-Inactive.

Datenshi Blue - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on FAQ.

Hochuuami - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on their Usage Policy.

Forever-More - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on FAQ.

Kira-Kira - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on their Bio at their LJ.

Nakama - ALLOW if
-upload releases 3 days after their release.

Dangerous Pleasure - ALLOW

Loveless - ALLOW if
-follow their rules based on FAQ.

-Disbanded.

Eternal Dream - ALLOW
-Can use their links.

-no distributing of the original "Waltz with a Black Cat"

-files upload on Megaupload (Option)

Storm in Heaven -NOT ALLOW

Fushichou - NOT ALLOW

To thank their hardwork in bringin us yaoi goods, I think it's necessary to follow their rules. I hope this matter can be put into consideration.

Good idea, I always try and respect a group's rules, failing that my policy is "don't remove the credits"

even though I think not letting people redistribute at all is stupid...

My policy is, "Beggars don't choose" ^____^

I used to download mangas from mangatraders and most of the files's name were changed and credit pages removed. I only realized sometime later that that was wrong, so I redownloaded from the groups's website itself. I don't think it is stupid cause people tend to remove the credit pages when redistribution. That's not fair for the group after all their hardwork in making them.

BUT! I totally agree on redistribution if the groups's files are only available on IRC cause I can never get access into it.

I get stuff from mangatraders, and it's usually pretty good for credits etc, but I suppose it depends on who uploads it. I certaintly don't remove credits cause I don't think it's fair, and it's especially wrong to try and pass it off as your own work...

Yeah, I hated it most when the manga is not separated into chapters. The whole pictures in the same folder is really annoying.

By the way, did you want a list (like the one you made) to be pinned in the "Shounen-ai/yaoi Manga" section?

I suppose... to make a difference it would need to be added to the guidelines in the "Want to help uploading? Read here how you can!"...

But that is sort of creating a new rule, and that can only Ruka decide.

aniways, yes I agree that we should abide by the rules of the scanlators. However I'm not the only one uploading yaoi manga, and it is simply impossible for me alone to check every file for credits and such.

For now I suggest that I'll start a new pinned topic concerning the scanlation groups.

I'll try to go over the series we already have and delete the series that are by 'no sharing scanlation groups'.

So if you can actually make a list with what these rules are per group, then it will be clearly what is allowed and what not.

Yes sure. I will only add groups from whom i get replied from. There are still much more out there, but it's impossible for me to ask every each of them. So it did be nice if someone could help out. Also if you want me to help you with deleting or so, I can always volunteer.
